Addalyn had her 3 year exam this morning. She really did well (except for the shot part, poor girl!). I was afraid she'd be scarred for life, but once I took her for a strawberry shake afterwards, she said "Mama, when I get big, I want to be a doctor too so I can help make people better". She's growing much too fast! *Sorry--the pictures uploaded in reverse order, so start at the bottom! :)
Addalyn has always had an interest in taking pictures. I was pretty impressed when she figured out how to use mine, but then she started figuring out everybody else's so this is why she got a digital camera for her birthday. In no time at all she figured out the self-timer feature and has taken hundreds of photos with it. I wish I was exaggerating... :) Here are some of her shots of herself, her sister, her dolls, Reggie, etc...
Macey went to her first ever Royals game Saturday night! She was pretty restless and by the third inning was whining "I want bye bye! I want bye bye!". Luckily, there was enough going on to keep her distracted. Addy did okay too, she threw a few fits, but we were there for almost 4 hours so I can't complain. We had awesome seats, awesome weather and an awesome ballgame to watch!

Aunt Jenny was generous enough to lend me her new (really nice!) camera for a work event last week. Needless to say, I managed to snap a few shots of the girls with it and fell in love! How crystal clear are these pictures??? It helps that my little models are so gorgeous too. Even when showing off their "MAD faces"! :)
I was lucky enough to get to go into work late the morning of June 9th so I could take my birthday princess out to breakfast! We went to Perkins so she could get "sparkle" pancakes (a.k.a sprinkle pancakes!). What a fun morning!
Addalyn's newest dance move is one that was taught to her by Miss Sterling Elizabeth. Sorry...it was really windy this day so it's kind of hard to hear Addy during her dancing. She's saying "lllllleft to the right, lllllleft to the right, lllllleft to the right". So entertaining!
Macey is such a ham! She's saying several words now, but my favorites are any words with an "s" in them because she has a lisp when she says them. "Sissy" (for Addalyn) and "please" are the cutest! Addy went into her room this morning when she woke up and Macey got so exicted and shouted "SISSY!" when she saw her. They're so cute!
This poor kid is so confused, thanks to Papa! The girls looked adorable today and I'd like to think that wearing their cheerleading outfits contributed to a Jayhawk victory over the Tigers today. :)
Addalyn was so full of energy this morning, I decided to video her and ask her some questions. Even though she gets it wrong in this video, she really does know that her birthday is June 9th. And it's so cute to hear her say her full name! :) There's also a brief lesson on how to do the splits...
